Peloton - Online Cycling Manager

Peloton is a free online game set in the cycling world. You manage a team of cyclists and participate in all the famous races and tours, including classics such as Paris-Roubaix, the Giro d'Italia and of course the Tour de France.

The game features 79 different races and 13 different tours!

Peloton is a division based game, meaning you will compete against 19 other teams that are in your division. If you win enough races to win the division, you promote to a higher (and of course more difficult) one.

Registration is free, so register now and lead your team of cyclists to success!

Updates and status (6/7/2008)

Update: The divisions in Italy have been expanded to level 4, with 64 new divisions. This increases the maximum amount of players in this country from 420 to 1700!

The teams without division will be placed in a division shortly. The calendars for these divisions will also be generated shortly.

- As you may have noticed, last week during the update, there was a small problem with trainers not decreasing in skill even when they should have. This was because in the code it was still incorrectly stated that the decrease should happen in week 0 instead of week 1. This has now been corrected. All trainers and scouts who should have had a skill decrease last week, will decrease in a skill during the next update.

- The period of inactivity before a team is set to inactive and becomes a bot has been increased from 4 to 8 weeks, so that those who go on vacation don't have to fear that their team will be gone when they come home.

- The Italian divisions are now completely full, and new teams registering will not be placed in a division. The players will see 'Division 0:0' instead. We will consider expanding the amount of divisions because it is still early in the season, so that those players don't have to wait until the next season.

- Finally, there has been a modification to how the cyclists' time in Team Time Trials (TTT) is calculated. Before, the time of the last cyclist was assigned to the rest of the team.

However, after some consideration, we felt that it would be better and fairer to take the average time of all the cyclists in the team. The next TTT in the season will be the first stage of the Giro d'Italia, so please keep this in mind when selecting your cyclists for this tour.
